Sub-subtitle: And other stuff…

I’m back with part two of my assorted brushes guide for Photoshoppers. Why? Because picking the right brush is essential when learning how to draw with a tablet or a mouse. If you’re short on time, go ahead and skip to the calligraphy and Paint.net sections because the rest of the assorted brushes aren’t that good. Just make sure to check out brushes 14, 15, 18 and 20.

I’m back :)

Where was I? Working, school and being lazy. I’m sorry! I know, it’s been awhile. Marisol and I were trying to get an apartment but we ended up working so hard that everything started to suffer. From now on I’m going to stick with contributing to our tutorial art gallery.

Anyway, here’s another art drawing tutorial on nothing specific in particular. This tutorial focuses on drawing face art, rather than body art, giving explanations on how to draw out each part. I added advanced sections, even though they’re not really that much more advanced. They’re really just extra things you can look out for when you’re trying to go the extra mile with your art lessons. We’re all artists here at Sketching House, so as artists, we need tools; lots and lots of tools. We need pencils, and pens, and erasers, paints, paper, books, palettes, and on and on down the line until we have everything we ever dreamed of. Well, just in case you haven’t caught on by now, it’s time for the…

…wait for it…

Hi! Thank you for reading my first post. If you’re an artist like me, you might have a hard time getting started drawing. “What’s wrong with me” you scream as another hour passes. Or maybe it just seems like an hour. I’ve come up with a couple ways to get myself to draw and they all have their good points and bad points. For me, one of the harder ways to get myself drawing is free sketching. By free sketching, I quickly make lines, trying to draw something. It could be a person, or it could be an object. Maybe even some type of scenery. But regardless, I put my stylus down on my tablet and just draw. Click to read more …
